dungeons,
The dungeon passages and rooms under the castle have stone walls and are lit by torches. Potions classes are held in a dungeon classroom, large enough to hold at last twenty students, their cauldrons, and their work tables. The Hogwarts kitchens are located directly below the Great Hall and are just the same size. To get to the kitchens, take the door to the right of the main staircase in the entrance hall. Follow the corridor until you come to a painting of a bowl of fruit. Tickle the pear and it giggles and becomes a door handle.

ground floor,
The large entrance hall, first place upon entering Hogwarts. From there is the entrance to the Great Hall. Vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. Four long tables for the four houses where all meals are eaten. Also holding the Hogwarts Staff room, Filtch's office, corridors, broom cupboards and class rooms.

first floor,
The first floor holds many classrooms, including the DADA, Muggle Studies, and History of Magic classrooms. Also, the Hospital Wing is found on the first floor for any injured or sick students.

hogsmeade,
Found across the lake from Hogwarts is Hogsmeade. A small village where students are permitted trips to shop and get out of their school setting.
